Information we use

Depending on how you interact with us, we may process:

• Your name, delivery address and contact details supplied with a marketplace order.
• Order, payment-status, delivery, return, refund and customer-service information.
• Messages and enquiries sent through a marketplace's communication services.
• Seller-account identifiers, listings, inventory and business-policy information accessed through authorised marketplace APIs.
• Technical information such as request logs, security events and basic device or browser information generated when the website is used.

We do not receive your complete payment-card details from a marketplace. The marketplace processes checkout and payment information under its own privacy terms.

Why we use it

We use personal information only where we have a lawful reason, including:

• To accept, prepare, dispatch and support your order, under our contract with you.
• To answer questions and manage delivery issues, returns, refunds or disputes.
• To maintain accurate eBay listings, stock information and seller-account settings.
• To prevent fraud, protect our services and keep appropriate business records for our legitimate interests.
• To meet tax, accounting, consumer-protection and other legal obligations.

We do not use your marketplace order information for unrelated marketing and do not make solely automated decisions that have a legal or similarly significant effect on you.

Who we share it with

We share only the information reasonably necessary to operate the shop and fulfil orders. Recipients may include:

• The marketplace used for your purchase, which provides checkout and buyer-seller communication services.
• Approved suppliers and fulfilment partners that prepare or dispatch an order.
• Postal, courier and delivery providers.
• Website, cloud, security and software providers acting on our instructions.
• Professional advisers, regulators or authorities where disclosure is legally required.

Some suppliers or technology providers may process information outside the UK. Where this happens, we take steps to use an appropriate lawful transfer mechanism, such as UK adequacy regulations or approved contractual safeguards where applicable. We do not sell personal information.

Retention and security

We keep order and transaction records only for as long as needed to provide support and satisfy tax, accounting and legal requirements, normally for no longer than six years. Routine website service logs are normally retained for up to 30 days. Authorisation tokens remain in use until they expire, are replaced or access is revoked.

We use access controls, private server-side credential storage, encryption where appropriate and limited staff or service-provider access. No online service can guarantee absolute security, but we review our safeguards and restrict access to people and systems that need it.

Your privacy rights

UK data-protection law may give you rights to access, correct or erase your information; restrict or object to its use; and receive certain information in a portable form. These rights can depend on the reason we process the information and may be limited where records must be kept by law.
